WHY IS YOUR SUPPORT IMPORTANT?
For more than six years, the team of the Ukrainian Volunteer Service has been developing a culture of volunteering in Ukraine. During this time, we have trained more than 1,000,000 people in volunteering and engaged more than 900,000 people in volunteer activities. Staying in constant contact with volunteers from all over the country, together with our partners, we provide psycho-emotional, coordination, legal, and financial support.
Every dollar you donate empowers volunteers who work every day to save others, from providing psycho-emotional support for the elderly, to delivering medicines and arranging evacuation of people from the frontline areas.
With your support, we can continue empowering and strengthening those who consistently prove that a good deed is powerful. Your support is our strength.

On the platform, we regularly share exclusive news, plans, and warm stories of assistance made possible by your monthly support. Here, you get to know the stories of our team, volunteers and other Ukrainians who drive the volunteer effort on the ground and support others.
All contributions from this platform are used to support our organizational growth and the creation of mini-grants for trusted volunteers who provide humanitarian aid in the temporarily occupied and frontline territories.

People who stayed in the occupied territories face the brutality of the russian military, and a lack of basic food and medicine every day. You can support the volunteers who are delivering humanitarian aid and helping with evacuation in Kakhovka, Nova Kakhovka, Berdyansk, and Skadovsk despite the danger. Our achievements in numbers
Since the establishment of the UVS in 2017, over seven hundred charitable and non-profit organizations have joined our community, and more than 5 000 activists have graduated from our training programs.
In 2021, together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and UNICEF Ukraine, Ukrainian Volunteer Service has launched the National Volunteer Platform, an online resource aimed to strengthen the connection between individuals interested in volunteering and non-profit organizations. More than 400 000 Ukrainians have used the platform to search for volunteering opportunities in their regions, including small cities and communities.
With the start of the full-scale war, the Ukrainian Volunteer Service has mobilized more than 100 000 volunteers throughout the country to coordinate humanitarian assistance for people impacted by the russian invasion and support other volunteer organizations depending on their needs. Volunteers provided consultations and direct support both for people in need and organizations that searched for volunteers to provide humanitarian support, evacuation and other services. Also we launched the Palyanytsya.info, an online resource for finding help all over Ukraine, which was used by over 1 000 000 people.
Our volunteer community is growing every day and becoming a driving force for social change. It's crucial for us to provide continuous support to them. By staying in constant contact with our volunteers, we can respond promptly to their needs and strengthen their activities.
Together we become a resilient support for those who consistently demonstrate the immense power of a good deed. Your support is our strength.
On the occupied territories, people face the cruelty of russian military forces, a lack of basic necessities, and medications on a daily basis. You can support the volunteers who, despite the danger, are helping the local communities in Kahovka, Nova Kahovka, Berdiansk, and Skadovsk. Each of your contributions is a support for those who remain in the occupied territories!
FAQ
Who does my contribution help?
Charitable donations help us to be a strong and sustainable support for volunteers from all over the country. Daily, our volunteers evacuate people from dangerous areas, deliver food packages and medicine, and provide psycho-emotional support for those in need. With your donations, the volunteers can receive the necessary support to be more effective in their work. You can track who your donations help in our reporting table. For the safety of volunteers, we do not disclose their full information. A detailed report on each project can be found in the «Reports» section.
What can I do if I can't contribute financially?
Share our fundraising campaigns on your social media platforms — this will spread the word about the needs and attract more funds to support people, especially in occupied territories where the situation is the toughest. You can also disseminate verified information about the russian invasion of Ukraine. It's important for us to resist fake narratives, fight misinformation and share the truth with the world.

Why is regular support important?
Regular donations allow us to effectively react to crises, supporting and coordinating volunteers on the ground in tackling any emergency. By joining the monthly support with any amount, you are not only helping the volunteers but also getting a chance to peek behind the scenes of our organization and Ukrainian volunteering as such. All of our Patrons get access to exclusive regular newsletters about Ukrainian volunteering initiatives and the impacts of our work on the ground.
How can I help UVS fundraise?
You can organize your own fundraiser – for example, in honor of your birthday. The funds collected can be transferred to our account or directly to volunteers on the ground. We will be happy to recommend volunteer organizations that we trust ourselves. For more information, please contact us at mlemza@volunteer.country.
