Ukrainian Volunteer Service is a non-governmental organization founded in 2017. Our goal is to develop a culture of volunteerism and mutual assistance in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, we have been providing comprehensive support and continue to create opportunities for volunteerism.
Volunteering is what helps us, the citizens, to change the country from within and create our own future, to bring to reality the dream of a successful Ukraine where everyone has equal opportunities and can participate in solving social problems. Through volunteering, everyone can make an effort to bring victory closer and help those in need.
That is why we support, train and connect volunteers with organizations that need help. We are always there to be a pillar of strength and support for those who care about others.
VISION
We strive to create a Ukraine where every person — regardless of age, gender, social status, cultural or ethnic background — can realize their potential in helping others.
VALUES
Love
Volunteering is not just about a community of like-minded people, but about a platform of shared values and world views. We believe that by helping others, you not only do a good deed but also share your love and warmth.
Freedom
Each of us is free to choose the way, time, and scope of our volunteer work. We respect the freedom of others and do not interfere with it. We allow ourselves and others to be flexible and find their own path. That is why no one can force us to engage in activities contradicting our values.
Growth
Volunteering is one of the best opportunities for growth. By doing good things, we also grow professionally, try our hand at something new, and realize our full potential. Without continuous growth, it is impossible to achieve our goals.
Responsibility
We are responsible for the outcomes of our actions both to ourselves and to our community, city, country, and the world. We take responsibility for solving the problems that concern us and our actions and results.
Love for Ukraine
Being upright citizens, we love and appreciate our country and strive to make it more successful through our actions. We neither support military aggression against Ukraine and the occupation of its territories nor do we cooperate with organizations and people who tolerate such actions or have an unsavory reputation. We call for active citizenship and participation in elections and community life.
