HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER ONLINE?
Use your professional skills
You can create creative visuals, translate texts into other languages, and help NGOs manage their social media accounts. We recommend subscribing to the Creative Forces of Ukraine Telegram channel, as well as LobbyX, where calls for communication volunteers are actively posted.
Help block Russian websites and hostile pages
Follow the news on the channels of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, where tasks for cyber troops are regularly published. Do not lose sight of your security here, too: turn on two-factor authentication, change passwords to stronger ones, disable geolocation tracking, and use a VPN if necessary.
Try your hand at phone volunteering
You can complete a short online course and provide psychosocial support to lonely people through the My Phone Friend project. Volunteers communicate weekly with lonely, mostly elderly, people to share news and support their mental well-being.

Provide professional counseling
If you are a mental health expert, you can provide psychological support to those who need it through the Tell Me platform.
If you are a professional lawyer, you can provide free legal advice to volunteers in cooperation with the NGO YurShtab.
You can also contact an organization or foundation in your city, tell them about your professional skills, and offer your support. Non-governmental organizations highly value the expert assistance of communicators, designers, lawyers, accountants, psychologists, and other professionals.

Organize your own fundraisers
You can organize your own fundraising campaign and raise two, five, or ten thousand hryvnias. The money you raise can be transferred to a foundation or to volunteers you personally trust. To speed up your fundraising, you can organize events (literary evenings, movie nights, etc.), hold quizzes and giveaways, and involve your friends from various fields to spread the word.
One of the most striking examples of volunteers joining together to raise funds is the Azov Tylovyky team fundraising campaign. More than 500 volunteers joined the campaign, each organizing their own fundraising for UAH 50,000. Together, the volunteers raised more than UAH 30 million, enabling the Azov One team to purchase and promptly deliver drones to the military.
Remember that our strength is in unity and mutual support.
